Google Analytics is a webmaster tool from Google. It is one of the most effective tools for a blogger to analyze his site data. Google Analytics lets you know all the rich insights into your website traffic through telling you the site referrers, top keywords, geo-location, bounce rate, average time on site and so much more.
Now you can view Google Analytics directly in your WordPress dashboard without having to open a new tab/window and then re-enter your login details to access the data. By intergrating the Google Analytics into your dashboard you can easily save much more time.
To view the Google Analytics in your WordPress blog’s dashboard itself you will have to use Google Analyticator plugin. This is a great WordPress plugin with some good features.
Some cool features of this plugin are:
- Supports outbound link tracking of all links on the page, including links not managed by WordPress
- Installs easily – unlike other plugins.
- Supports standard Google Analytics tracking via the latest async tracking methods (faster and more reliable than the older ga.js tracking method)
I am a big believer in saving time and working efficiently. By viewing all my Google Analytics data directly through my WordPress dashboard it can be ensured that I do not end up wasting a lot of time by browsing for my website’s traffic statistics.
